AcePoints Parts Exchange Network
This website serves a vital role in making Ace motorcycle
parts readily available, both original and reproduced. There are those who prefer to
turn their projects into practical, rideable machines. Then, there
are the purist, insisting only on original parts in
their projects. Most will fall somewhere in between these
two extremes.
The ultimate goal of Ace4.net is to make the Ace Four motorcycle, in
its original classic form, a more common sight at bike shows, rallys and runs
across the country, and perhaps around the world. To that end, we are
inviting all Ace Four enthusiasts participate in this parts exchange network. Here's how it works:
We offer original 1923-1925 Ace
motorcycle parts in our possession, in varying degrees of
physical conditions. These parts are not for sale, but are inventoried
for exchange or trade. Each of these parts will be issued
"AcePoints". If we have a particular part that you need, you can use your points to redeem
that part. The AcePoint system is calculated based on the 1924 parts
catalog list
price, multiplied by 100. For example, when a 1924 intake manifold
(original part # B-2300) in useable, ready to use condition is
received, it will be issued 650 AcePoints. For less than perfect
parts, points offered will deducted accordingly. On the other hand, these parts are also available for sale if necessary.
If you choose to sell your Ace parts
rather than exchanging for another, an asking price will be
published. In this case, the parts need not be shipped to our
location. Instead, you will need to send us pictures, and ultimately be
responsible for shipping (and insuring) your parts directly to the
buyer. We will collect full payment from the buyer on your behalf,
including shipping, minus a small finders fee on the parts. Alternatively, you may ship your parts to us under consignment.
How do you get AcePoints?
It is estimated that the majority of vintage Ace motorcycle parts in existence
are
in the hands of diehard collectors. You may be one of them. It is also estimated that almost
all have extra parts they do not use anymore, and wished they can be
traded for other Ace parts they DO need. TURN THESE INTO
ACEPOINTS!. Box them up and send them to us (insured, of course) and
we will issue AcePoints in your name based on the condition of the
parts. After you agree to the AcePoints offered, you can begin to redeem for
those parts you've been searching for, and to push your project
ahead.
We are also in the process of manufacturing exact reproduction parts
for the Ace Four. These shall be more affordably priced than original
parts in the open market. We will offer these parts through this website and also through Ebay. Please click here to follow progress. To be included in our mailing list when new parts become available for sale, send us an email letting us know what stage you are in on your project.
